Five minutes is all what it will take you to improve your life, lower your stress, increase your self-esteem and get more motivated. Practice these quick tips every day for a mood boost!
– Creative Visualization : pick a time of the day, where you can spend 5 minutes, uninterrupted and do nothing but focus on your goals, visualize what you want to achieve in your life, imagining your future and your dreams. while lying or sitting in a comfortable position, best time to do this is in the morning when you wake up. This exercise will move you to a relaxed state where you can connect at best with yourself. don’t worry If you still have no idea what you want at the present, just use this time to think creatively about what you wish to do with your life. Don’t forget to bring in your emotions and senses, a great way to improve your life in few minutes a day as it will help you to know more what you desire to achieve in life and give you great insights to move towards that direction
– Writing in a personal journal the things I am grateful for and the positive things that happened during my day : take 5 min a day and focus your attention on the positive things in your life, the situations, the experiences and people that you cherish and appreciate. Start a gratitude journal in which you write down your blessings and a number of things you are thankful for, a great way to show gratitude and to keep yourself in a daily positive state. Be creative and challenge yourself every day to find new ones.
– Overcome self-doubt: by power posing for 2 minutes on a daily basis to increase confidence before facing your day challenges : Standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident can have an impact on our chances for success. When you begin to practice the various super power poses ( ex how superman stands ) for at least 20 seconds it will fundamentally improve how you feel about yourself and you will feel confidence.
– Love yourself: start your day by reciting positive affirmations in front of the mirror : Loving yourself is a required condition for building self esteem, boosting self confidence. Self-love is having a deeply affectionate relationship with yourself and an expression of respect, appreciation and gratitude for the amazing creative human being you are. Practice: When you wake up and greet the mirror first thing in the morning, before brushing your teeth or your hair, look at yourself and say, “I love you. I really love you.” And state positive affirmations that will give you the power to change what is in your heart and mind. Affirmations do more than change the way you think; they also change the way you feel.
– Control your anger : practice the pull out technique on a daily basis just for few minutes : this technique adds an action to your imagination to help “throw away” a feeling. With Pull Outs, you find your feeling in your body and then use your hands while you pretend that you are pulling it out to throw away. Focus on really what is bothering you during the day or a situation that is impacting you in a negative way and practice the pull out technique on it.
