Diane von Furstenberg Sweater

I am always on the hunt for great sweaters. For better or for worse, it’s definitely getting to that point in the season where sweaters are doable if not completely necessary. (Especially with the cooler nights!)

I tend to go with standard crewneck sweaters, likely cable knit, and add a button down underneath. When Nordstrom asked me to do a post featuring Diane von Furstenberg, I was immediately drawn to the ballerina sweater! It’s outside of my comfort zone; the little (okay, more than a little) low cut and the cream color would normally scare me away!

The sweater is definitely cropped, so I recommend pairing it with a higher waisted skirt like the pleated one (great price!) I’m wearing here. Or, if you’re feeling extra-cool, high waisted jeans would look amazing!


I love that the sweater has the iconic DVF wrap. A fun twist on the classic dress.
